2008 -- 2023: The Solo Years and Revival Attempts

Yannis The Loner (YTLn) ventured into solo work, releasing critically acclaimed albums like Shadow of a Dream (2012), WeatherReport (2013) and Terminal Station (2014). After a long hiatus, Yannis returned in 2023 with Homeward Bound, followed by three more albums in 2024: Born to Run, Northern Skies: Act I, and Act II. In 2025, YTLn released the album "The Shape of Sound" and "Seasons of the Soul" is set for a Spring release.

In 2010/2011, Yannis and Peter "Dark" recorded two Still I'm Sad-inspired songs, but efforts to fully reunite the band fell short.

From August 2008 to February 2009, Yannis and Peter formed the cover band Shoot 'Em Up, where they reinterpreted SIS songs like Never Be the Same Again.

Shoot 'em Up

2007: The End and an Unfinished Album

During the summer of 2007, Still I'm Sad began recording Live to Die in Nevermore. The heaviest and most ambitious project of their career, it remained incomplete due to the band's disbandment in late August 2007.

Falling In Deep (Summer 2007)

Often regarded as their best work, this album featured iconic tracks like The Embers of Love, Through the Infinite Waves of Life, and the title track Falling In Deep. A remastered version was released in February 2024.

2005 -- 2006: The Golden Era
